Saurora Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 4, 2026
Saurora is a dinosaur survival game made by MeuRobo, Brazil. MeuRobo is responsible for the data described here. Contact: [email protected].
The short version
- No email or password. The game makes an account on your device by itself.
- To play online we need your player name, your account ID and your internet address.
- Chat goes to the server and is logged there. Voice is passed on live and never saved.
- Bug reports and automatic error reports help us fix the game. You can switch error reports off.
- Google Play or Steam handles payments. We never see your card.
- No ads. We don't sell your data.
What we collect, and why
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Player name you type | Online play, bug reports | Shown to other players; moderation |
| Account ID and your device's public key | First start | To know your account, your skins and bans across servers |
| Recovery code (only a scrambled copy of it) | First start | So you can move your account to a new device |
| Internet (IP) address | Every connection | To connect you; to limit abuse; servers can ban an address |
| Your animals and progress | Online play | Saved on the server you play on |
| Text chat | When you send a message | Delivered to nearby players or everyone; logged on the server for moderation |
| Voice | Only while you talk | Passed on live to players near your animal. Not recorded or stored by the game |
| Player reports | When you report someone | Your name and ID, theirs, the reason, your note and their last chat lines go to that server's admins |
| Purchases | When you buy a skin | On Google Play: product, order number and Google's purchase token, kept on your account to give you the skin and remove it after a refund |
| Steam ID and Steam skins | Each start of the Steam version, and when you buy or restore a skin | The game shows our account service a ticket from Steam. The service asks Steam for your Steam ID and which of our skins your Steam inventory holds, and keeps both on your account: to give you the skins, remove them after a refund, and tie one Steam account to one game account. We never see your Steam password |
| A scrambled phone ID | Each start on Android | The game reads Android's ID for this app on your phone, scrambles it one way (a hash) and sends only that to our account service. We use it for one thing: so a ban stays in place after a reinstall. It isn't used for ads or statistics and isn't given to anyone, including the servers you play on |
| Bug reports | When you send one | Your words, device and graphics details, game settings, where you are in the game, the last 400 log lines and, if you leave it in, a picture of the game screen |
| Automatic error reports | When the game hits an error | The error, device details and the last 400 log lines. No picture. Switch off: Settings > Game > Bugs > "Send error reports" |
| Device statistics (Unity) | At start | Unity Technologies, the maker of the game engine, collects device and performance information (model, operating system, hardware) for its engine statistics. It can't be switched off in our version of Unity. See Unity's privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy |
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, files or advertising ID. The microphone is used only for voice chat: the game explains why first, then Android asks you. You can say no and still play.
Who else sees it
- Other players see your player name, your animal and your messages. They can record what they see and hear.
- Server operators. Some servers are run by us. Others are run by people who hold a server licence, and in test versions by players hosting a game themselves (on a PC or a phone). Every server sees your player name, IDs, internet address, chat and voice while you play, and keeps its own chat log, reports and bans. Servers we don't run follow their owner's own practices. Ask them, and us, if you have a request about one.
- Google processes payments and app downloads under Google's privacy policy.
- Valve runs Steam. In the Steam version it processes payments and downloads, and answers our account service about your ticket and inventory, under Valve's privacy policy.
- Unity Technologies receives the device statistics above. In test versions, a game hosted or joined by room code runs through Unity's Relay service: it carries the game's traffic between players, chat and voice included, and sees your internet address and an anonymous ID made for this.
- Our hosting provider runs the computer the account service lives on (rented servers in Brazil). Some connections may pass through Cloudflare.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
We don't sell personal data and don't use it for advertising.
Security
The account service uses encrypted connections (https). Game traffic between your device and a game server is not encrypted, including chat and voice. Don't share private information in chat. Your account key stays on your device.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Account (ID, name, public key, skins, purchases, Steam ID if you play on Steam) | Until you delete it |
| Note that an account was deleted (ID and date only) | About 400 days, so servers can remove its saves |
| Saved animals on our servers | Until the account is deleted; servers remove them when they next check |
| Bug and error reports | 12 months, then deleted automatically. Ask us to delete yours sooner |
| Scrambled phone ID | Until you delete your account |
| If a banned account is deleted: a one-way hash of its Steam ID or phone ID, and the ban's reason | Until the ban ends |
| Account service log (account ID, name, internet address, Steam ID if you play on Steam) | 90 days |
| Chat log on our servers | 90 days |
| Player reports and bans on our servers | Until an admin removes them |
| Backups of the account service | The last 30 days |
Deleting your account doesn't remove bug reports you sent, or chat and reports on servers we don't run. Ask us and we will remove what we hold.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the game (Settings > Game > Account > Delete my account) or see our deletion page: https://sauroragame.com/delete-account.
- Switch off error reports, voice and the microphone at any time.
- Block a player: chat > Players > Block. Their chat and voice stop reaching you.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or to object: email [email protected]. If you live in Brazil, the LGPD gives you these rights; in the EU or UK, the GDPR. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
Never send us passwords, card numbers or identity documents.
Age
Saurora is meant for players 16 and older. It is not made for children. If you think a child has used it, email [email protected] and we will delete the account.
Data abroad
The account service and our servers may be in another country than yours (Brazil). Unity's Relay servers may be in other countries too. We protect your data the same way wherever it is.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the game when the change is important.
